IIM Membership Benefits

IIM, founded in 2003, is a non-profit public information and governmental affairs association that represents the interests of 40 property and casualty insurance companies and 52 other insurance-related groups operating in Michigan. Any property/casualty insurance company operating in this state, as well as related insurance organizations are welcome to join IIM.

There are many benefits to IIM membership, including:

• Experienced legislative and regulatory representation.

• Involvement in various legal actions expected to have a significant impact on the property/casualty insurance industry in Michigan.

• Timely updates on key legislative, regulatory and judicial changes in the state.

• A bimonthly publication that includes information on industry trends, appellate and high court opinions, industry personnel changes, crime, residual market statistics and IIM programs.
